Location:

Initially Mattsies, Germany and greater Zurich Area, Switzerland.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Customer Specification Process by delivering the visuals support (drawings,2D & 3D renderings, colour board, plating, other soft goods ) to guide the Customer through his interior definition
  • Generate and present external paint schemes
  • Prepare and attend the Customer Specification Meetings
  • Liaise with Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing to ensure feasibility of offered design concepts
  • Support the development of the Customer specification process
  • Manage the Fabric & Customer specification room

Required skills:

  • Relevant education such as a degree in Industrial Design
  • At least 5 years of work experience business aviation as a Designer
  • Willingness to travel, if and, when required to meet with the Customer
  • English spoken and written. Additional languages a plus.
  • Prior experience in working on a platform such as the configurator
  • Be comfortable in a start-up environment (i.e. flexible, creative, pro-active, responsive, patient/good sense of humor, comfortable with uncertainty/grey areas)
  • Very strong customer focus, self confident, outspoken, excellent organization and presentation skills
  • Good intercultural and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, be a good team player
  • Process oriented, computer-literate and willing to learn new things
  • Strong knowledge of Business Aircraft interiors and regulations a must
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Can work in Germany and in Switzerland
