• Evaluate and qualify new composite materials.
• Provide Materials technical support in various areas of composite aircraft engineering and manufacturing
• Evaluate, review and approve materials and processes for use on aircraft programs. Provide technical guidance in the application of requirements from industry and government standards.
• Prepare test plan, procedures, budgets, and schedules for new material and process qualifications, element and component testing
• Coordinate testing and analysis work with in-house test lab and engineering personnel. Prepare briefings, write material specifications, and generate reports on qualification efforts.
• Review manufacturing process instructions and recommend process improvements respectively correction actions

We are looking for a highly motivated, pro-active, flexible and responsive person who has very good analytical and conceptual skills as well as interpersonal skills and is able to work independently and as a team player. The successful candidate must have an excellent command of the English language. German is beneficial.

Applicants should have an aeronautical engineering background with the appropriate education and at least one year experience in a similar position.
