Job Responsibilities: |
- Support the interior development phase initially in Bavaria
- Support the set-up of the production plant and daily running of the plant
- Interface with other key stakeholders (Sales, Programs, Engineering, Methods, Suppliers, Operations and Supply Chain Germany)
- Developing master production schedules for the aircraft interiors in accordance with production plans.
- Develop the processes linked to Material and Work planning for all aspects linked to the interior during the development and the production phase
- Identifying deviations and coordinating corrective actions.
- Developing detailed execution plans to support budget, production plan, and inventory policies.
- Building “what if” plans from various hypothetical scenario requests from senior management.
- Building production and manufacturing plans, manpower and material budgets and forecasts for the aircraft interior program..
- Hire, train, motivate and develop purchasing buyer and planning technician

Required skills: |
- The ability to apply PERT and Critical Path and/or Critical Chain Theory Methodologies.
- Be comfortable in a start-up environment (i.e. flexible, creative, pro-active, responsive, patient/good sense of humor, comfortable with uncertainty/grey areas)
- Very strong customer focus, self confident, outspoken, excellent organization and presentation skills
- Good intercultural and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, be a good team player
- Process oriented, computer-literate and willing to learn new things
- A general knowledge of an Aerospace manufacturing environment. Business aviation experience is a plus. Knowledge of Business Aircraft interiors a further plus
- Excellent administration and communication skills.
- The ability to effectively represent the department at meetings.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direction and supervision

Education/Experience: |
- Relevant educational background
- At least 5 years of work experience in the field of Material and Work Planning
- German & English spoken and written. French a plus
|
